Ordering and pricing
What a quotation covers, and why nothing on this site has a price on it.
Is everything on this site made to order?
Yes. Sizes, colours, membrane, frame and mechanism are set per project. The specifications shown are reference starting points, not a fixed catalogue.
Why are there no prices?
Because the price depends on span, membrane type, frame finish, quantity, packing and delivery terms. A public price would be wrong for almost every visitor. Send dimensions and we will quote the actual scope.
Do you have a minimum order?
Many carport and shade ranges can start from one unit. Larger canopies, retractable roofs and marquees are quoted per project. The quotation will state the minimum quantity for the specific range.
What do you need from me to quote?
Dimensions or a site plan, photos of the location, the country and city, the intended use, and any wind, snow or approval requirement your engineer applies. A sketch with dimensions is enough to start.
How long does production take?
Lead time is confirmed in the quotation and depends on size, finish and quantity. It starts from drawing approval and deposit, not from the first enquiry.
Drawings and approvals
What you receive before production, and what stays with your engineer.
Can you provide drawings for permits?
Yes. Layout drawings and structural calculations can be prepared for the agreed specification and destination market. Local approval remains with you or your engineer.
Who is responsible for the structural calculation?
We prepare the calculation for the structure we manufacture, against the wind and snow values agreed for your site. The foundation and the building it connects to are by your engineer, and we issue the loads the structure puts into them.
Can the drawing be changed after approval?
Before production starts, yes — that is what approval is for. After cutting starts, a change means new material, and it is quoted as a variation rather than absorbed.
Shipping and packing
Flat-packed, labelled, and documented for customs.
How are the structures shipped?
Flat-packed in export cartons with a packing list and a container loading plan. Installation is by your local crew using our manual and drawings, with remote support.
How many units fit in a container?
It depends on bay size, membrane form and how the frame nests. The packing list for your order states cartons, volume and weight, and the loading plan shows how the container is filled.
Which delivery terms do you quote?
The quotation states the terms explicitly — EXW, FOB or CIF, with the port named. Whatever is not included, such as unloading, duties or inland transport, is listed rather than left to assumption.
Can I see the goods before they ship?
Yes. Pre-shipment photographs of the packed cartons and the loading are issued against the packing list, and a third-party inspection can be arranged at your cost.
Installation
Who builds it, and what they need from the drawing.
Do you send an installation team?
For most export orders the structure is installed by your local crew. We supply the manual, the drawings and a remote walkthrough, and we can review installer quotations before you commit.
What does the site have to prepare?
The foundation — slab, pads or ground screws — plus safe access for unloading and a crane or telehandler if the span needs one. The drawing lists what is by others.
Is site welding needed?
For the aluminium kit carports, no: every connection is bolted through a pre-drilled plate. For large steel structures, connections are bolted on site; any welding is specified on the drawing, not left to the crew to decide.
How long does installation take?
A single carport bay is a day for a small crew. A multi-bay canopy or a retractable roof is a programme measured in weeks, driven by the foundation and the crane days rather than by the frame itself.
Custom orders and returns
The commercial rules, stated before you order.
Can I return a product if I change my mind?
No. Every structure is cut, welded, coated and packed to your approved drawing, so it cannot be resold. Returns are not accepted once production has started. Confirmed manufacturing defects are repaired or replaced — that is the remedy, not a right to return a correctly made custom order.
What if the delivered item does not match the approved drawing?
Send photographs and the packing list reference within the claim period stated in the terms. Where the goods do not match the approved drawing, we repair or replace the affected parts.
Is there a warranty?
Warranty terms are stated in the quotation for the specific structure and finish, because they differ between a polycarbonate carport and a motorised membrane roof. We do not publish a single number that would be wrong for half the range.

Each page covers what that structure has to solve, the reference specification and photographs of real installations.
Still a question? Ask it directly.
Send the site, the span and the destination. You will get an answer, not a brochure.
